It’s already time to once again turn our attention to HGC’s Men’s Club Championship! For 2025, this Championship will be taking place over the weekend of August 23rd and 24th (Saturday and Sunday).
This event is open to all male Passholders of Hayward Golf Course, including Loyalty Passholders. On Saturday, you can play golf with whichever golfers you’d like; you will already be flighted, but you can build your own foursome with anybody (Pro Shop staff can help put you into a group if you would prefer that, as well). Sunday pairings will be determined based on the Saturday round’s results, and will be posted on Saturday evening.
There will be three divisions based on age:
- Open: Up to 50 (and any players who wish to play in this division), playing from Blue tees.
- Senior: 50 – 64, playing from White tees.
- Legends: 65+, playing from Gold tees.
Whatever your handicap, age, or skill level, there will be a flight where you can compete!
There will be a post-golf meal in the Caddyshak after the first round of play on Saturday!
The tournament entry fee is $80, which includes the Saturday night dinner, prizes, and trophy. Both the Open and Senior Champions will receive dedicated parking spots for the next year, also! To win the Open division (and be the overall Men’s Club Champion), you must play from the Blue tees; to be the Senior Champion, you must play from the White tees.
