We know there have been a lot of questions regarding the status of some of our tee boxes, particularly why some of them were in less-than-ideal condition during the season. Here is Bennett Orton, our head Superintendent, to briefly explain the situation (please excuse the sound quality, we were dealing with a lot of wind; use headphones if you can!):

In written form, essentially the tee boxes were meant to be composed of a 70/30 sand-to-soil mix, and this ratio was not mixed properly, leading to uneven distribution, compacting, and an overall low pH level.   A new calcium-based program being instituted for 2025 will raise the pH into a healthy growing zone.

We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding, and we look forward to normal tee box conditions once we get into the ’25 season!
