The tradition continues in 2025! The Hayward Open Tournament returns again on the weekend of Saturday, June 7th and Sunday, June 8th in 2025, and we have the first details ready to share with you.
As always, this will be a 45-hole event. There is an 18-hole stroke play qualifying round on Saturday, followed by 27 holes on Sunday, with your Saturday score determining if you are in the stroke play or match play brackets. There will be an optional practice round with a giant skins game on Friday, June 6th.
The sign-up period for the Open will begin on Halloween — Thursday, October 31st, 2024 — at 8:00am central time. Sign-ups will be accepted via email ([email protected]) or phone call (715-634-2760) at that time. We cap the size of the field at 160, and the spots will go fast!
This is, by far, our most storied and exciting event at Hayward Golf Course. It has a rich history, and each year adds an important new chapter to the legacy. Congratulations again to our 2024 champion, Jack Gustafson, who has now become a six-time champ!
