One of the biggest tentpole events of our golf season will soon arrive: the Joe Kuta Senior Tournament! “The Kuta,” as we call it, has been one of our most significant days each year at HGC, and this year’s edition will be taking place on Saturday, September 12th. Note that is Saturday, rather than the usual Sunday it has been in past years.
The Kuta is open to any male golfers (Passholders and non-Passholders) ages 50 and over, and it will be flighted by handicap. Entire field will play the White-Gold tees.
Entry for the tournament will be $50 for Passholders (includes food and prizes) and $100 for non-Passholders (includes green fee, food, and prizes). There will be an optional skins game available, as well.
Tee times on the 12th will run from 9:04am through 10:48am. Food will follow after the round. To sign-up, or if you have any additional questions, contact the Pro Shop (715-634-2760).
This is one of our greatest traditions at Hayward Golf Course, and we’re looking forward to making the 2026 version another important chapter in the legacy!
