The long-running Hayward Golf Course tradition will continue next year! The Hayward Open Tournament returns again on the weekend of Saturday, June 1st and Sunday, June 2nd in 2024, and we have the first details ready to share with you.
As usual, this will be a 45-hole event. There is an 18-hole stroke play qualifying round on Saturday, followed by 27 holes on Sunday, with your Saturday score determining if you are in the stroke play or match play brackets. There will be an optional practice round with a giant skins game on Friday, May 31st.
The sign-up period for the Open will begin on Halloween — Tuesday, October 31st, 2023 — at 8:00am central time. Sign-ups will be accepted via email ([email protected]) or phone call (715-634-2760) at that time. We cap the size of the field at 160, and the spots will go fast!
This is easily one of our most exciting and storied events here at HGC, and we expect that the 2024 edition will add another important chapter to the legacy.
