As we cruise through August, it’s time to start thinking about the Men’s Club Championship, which will take place this year on the weekend of September 16th and 17th!
Open to all male Passholders of Hayward Golf Course, including Loyalty Passholders. On Saturday, you can play golf with whichever golfers you’d like; you will already be flighted, but you can build your own foursome with anybody (Pro Shop staff can help put you into a group if you would prefer that, as well). Sunday pairings will be determined based on the Saturday round’s results, and will be posted on Saturday evening.
We will have a Senior Division for golfers ages 55 and up, with a separate Senior Champion crowned at the end of the event. There will also be a Senior Gold Division for golfers over 70 who wish to play the Gold tees (regular Senior Division golfers will play from the White tees). All other golfers will play from the Blues. So whatever your handicap, age, or level of skill, there will be a flight in which you can be competitive!
Additionally, this year we will be holding a post-round dinner in the Caddyshak after the Saturday round, so golfers will be able to unwind with a good meal! There will also be select drink specials in the bar!
The tournament entry fee is $60, which includes the Saturday night dinner, prizes, and trophy. Both the Men’s and Senior Champions will receive dedicated parking spots for the year, as well!
Tee times on Saturday, September 16th, will run between 1:00pm and 3:00pm. Tee times on Sunday, September 17th, will run between 7:30am and 9:30am. To sign-up, stop in the Pro Shop, or call (715) 634-2760.
