With August — and our Women’s and Junior Club Championships — upon us, it’s time to also turn our attention to the Men’s Club Championship! For 2024, this Championship will be taking place over the weekend of August 24th and 25th (Saturday and Sunday).
This event is open to all male Passholders of Hayward Golf Course, including Loyalty Passholders. On Saturday, you can play golf with whichever golfers you’d like; you will already be flighted, but you can build your own foursome with anybody (Pro Shop staff can help put you into a group if you would prefer that, as well). Sunday pairings will be determined based on the Saturday round’s results, and will be posted on Saturday evening.
We will have a Senior Division for golfers ages 55 and up, with a separate Senior Champion crowned at the end of the event. Depending on interest, there may also be a Senior Gold Division for golfers over 70 who wish to play the Gold tees (regular Senior Division golfers will play from the White tees). All other golfers will play from the Blues. Whatever your handicap, age, or skill level, there will be a flight where you can compete!
Additionally, there will be a post-round dinner in the Caddyshak after the Saturday round, so players will be able to unwind with a good meal after the golf!
The tournament entry fee is $75, which includes the Saturday night dinner, prizes, and trophy. Both the Men’s and Senior Champions will receive dedicated parking spots for the next year, also!
Tee times on Saturday, August 24th, will run between 1:20pm and 2:56pm. Tee times on Sunday, August 25th, will run between 7:30am and 10:00am. To sign-up, stop in the Pro Shop, or call (715) 634-2760.
